They are happy to report that through the sensatization and awareness programs and guidance and encouragement from ABF, so far 32 school dropout children are back attending school. Ms Narbada regularly goes on house visits to track the progress and attendance of these students as well.

The Members also meet with the Self Help Group (SHG) members from the local community mostly comprising of housewives of Tea garden workers. They requested ABF members to facilitate training in different income generation schemes.Random house visits were also conducted of the area to ascertain the situation at ground level.

Lastly, an interactive session was organised with the children at the learning centre.

Due to the extension in summer break by the govt, a total of 42 children was present that day. In this session, the children were again sensitized in the area of Child Labour, Child Trafficking, Child Marriage and the importance of education.

The session ended with the children participating in song and dance and a short games session.
